Upcoming Offerings for 2009-2010 School Year
Tuesday, February 2, 2010 - 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. (snow date: February 10, 2010) Kindergarten Readiness Workshop - Identifying the at-risk learner during the pre-school years. This is a free workshop for preschool directors and educators. Click here to register or receive more information.
Children at-risk for having a learning difference benefit from early identification and early intervention. This workshop will:
- examine the issue of identifying children who are at-risk for learning differences
- provide teachers with information to help them inform families why or how their child is at-risk and how parents can help
Valley Forge Educational Services' Child Development Consultant, Nancy Allard, MA, OTR/L, and Crossroads' Speech & Language Therapist, Christine Barraza, MS CCC-SLP, will show you how to look for "red flags" in multiple areas of development and make appropriate recommendations for intervention.
In the event of inclement weather, please listen to KYW Radio for our school number: 836.
